ADB HR Consulting was created to help growing businesses recognize those needs, build the right foundation, and prepare for what comes next.
ADB HR Consulting was founded in 2018 after Ava Bruce recognized a recurring challenge among growing businesses: many had employees, established values, and plans for growth, but lacked the formal Human Resources structure needed to support them effectively.
One of Ava's early experiences in this work involved helping a small California business establish its Human Resources department. The company already had its own culture and values. What it needed were the processes, systems, and structure to support how the organization wanted to operate. After several years in a larger company, where Ava gained significant Human Resources growth and operations experience, she saw more clearly the gaps smaller businesses can face as they expand.
That experience, together with her goal of entrepreneurship as she transitioned from California back to Florida, became the foundation for ADB HR Consulting. Building Human Resources functions and infrastructure from the ground up remains one of the firm's core specialties.

Meet Ava Bruce
Ava Bruce, SHRM-CP, is the Founder and Principal of ADB HR Consulting. She brings more than 20 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience across financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, professional services, and privately held organizations.
Her experience includes building and strengthening Human Resources functions, advising executive leadership, supporting multistate workforces, leading Human Resources teams, modernizing Human Resources technology, and helping organizations develop the people practices and infrastructure needed to support their business.
